Investigations Lines:

His main research interests are in the field of Software and Web Engineering, Web evaluation methods, Web metrics and automation, measurement and evaluation frameworks, semantic web, and object-oriented technologies for distributed environments.

Currently, he continues researching in quantitative strategies for Web quality evaluation (Web QEM Doctoral Thesis disserted in 2000 [2,7 Mb in pdf format, and in Spanish]), and its supporting tools (Website MA and Web QEM_Tool, INCAMI_Tool). One current line of research is the measurement and evaluation framework so-called INCAMI, and the support of this framework to CMMI process areas.

He participates in the following projects:
